The Gear Revival is tucked away in Midtown Atlanta's recently revitalized West Side, near Taqueria Del Sol, West Egg, and Octane Coffee Lounge. Anyone who has lived in the ATL long enough remembers the days of the West Side's being pretty grungy. Not anymore! We are proud to be a part of the transformation of the area and enjoy the in-town vibrant life. Our inventory changes rapidly , so be sure to drop in and look around when you're in the area.

In a refreshing change from the big-box-mall-death-stars dotting our retail landscape (yes, I mean REI), The Gear Revival is housed in a non-descript but clean building with about six parking spaces (get there early or park on the street). A boutique with an edge, one of Atlanta's finest selections of outdoorsy clothing and gear is displayed in about one thousand square feet. Mitch Davis, Proprietor, has collected an impressive inventory from failing retailers, salesman's samples, and even some used product from individuals who realize that one man's trash is another man's treasure. You can bring in all of that gear you're never going to use and Davis will pay you for it, or let you consign it. But this isn't just a 'used gear shop' 75% of the merchandise is brand new. The entire business model keeps material out of landfills, while giving shoppers a great selection at lower than retail prices.
So instead of heading to Buckhead to fight the traffic this Friday, steer towards Atlanta's newer West Side. You can check out the progress being made on the new developments, eat at West Egg, Chow Baby, Figo, or Six Feet Under, shop on Northside Drive between Brady Avenue, 10th and 14th, and best of all, spend your dollars at retailers like The Gear Revival."
